Questions
Emergency questions
Are you really available 24/7?
Yes. Call or text (310) 487-2137 any time, day or night, including weekends and holidays.
My power is out. Is it me or Edison?
If your neighbors are dark too, it's most likely a Southern California Edison outage, so check SCE's outage map. If only your home or part of your home is out, the problem is likely on your side, at the panel, a breaker or the wiring, and that's something we fix.
Is a burning smell from an outlet an emergency?
Yes. A burning or hot-plastic smell from an outlet, switch or panel can mean overheating wiring. Turn off that circuit if you can do it safely, stop using it, and call us right away. If there's smoke or fire, call 911 first.
A breaker keeps tripping. Should I keep resetting it?
No. A breaker that trips again right after you reset it is telling you something is wrong, such as a short, an overload or a failing breaker. Leave it off and call us.
