Who we are
Seaside Electric is a licensed electrical contractor (CA license #1143317) based in Torrance, California, owned by Tyler MacNicoll. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Seaside Electric. You can reach us at (310) 487-2137 or tyler@seaside-electric310.com.
What we collect
When you request an estimate on this website, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, city, email address (optional), the type of job, your timing, any details you add, and whether you checked the box agreeing to receive text messages. We also note the page you sent it from and the time.
When you call, text or email us, we keep the conversation and your contact details so we can help you with your job.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and running. We do not use advertising trackers on this website.
How we use it
- To call, text or email you back about your request
- To schedule visits, send estimates, and follow up on work we do for you
- To keep records of the jobs we do, as required for a licensed contractor
Text messages
We only text you if you check the box on our request form agreeing to receive texts, or if you text us first. The box is never checked for you, and agreeing is not required to get an estimate or hire us.
Texts are about your request: replies, scheduling, estimates, appointment reminders and follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts at any time, or HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS terms.
We never sell, rent or share your phone number or your agreement to receive text messages with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Information about your text consent is never shared with anyone except the service providers that deliver our messages for us.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers that help us run the business, and only so they can do that work for us:
- Our customer management and messaging system (LeadConnector / HighLevel), which stores your request and sends our texts and emails
- Our email provider (Google Workspace)
- Our website host (Cloudflare)
We may also share information if the law requires it, for example to respond to a court order.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to keep the job records a contractor is required to keep. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; we'll delete what we aren't legally required to keep.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
- Ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by calling (310) 487-2137 or emailing tyler@seaside-electric310.com.
Children
This website is for adults arranging electrical work. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
