Electrical work for Peninsula homes
Homes on the Palos Verdes Peninsula tend to be larger, on bigger and often hillside lots, with garages, guest houses, pools and long runs of landscape lighting. Many were built decades ago and are now being updated for EVs, heat pumps and modern kitchens.
- Panel and service upgrades for older homes taking on more load.
- Sub-panels for detached garages, guest houses, ADUs and workshops.
- Landscape, patio and security lighting across large yards and hillsides.
- Dedicated circuits for spas, AC and mini-splits.
- EV chargers, including long runs from the panel to the garage.
- Remodels and additions, from plans through final inspection.
All four Peninsula cities
Palos Verdes Estates (Malaga Cove, Lunada Bay, Valmonte), Rancho Palos Verdes (including Miraleste), Rolling Hills and Rolling Hills Estates. Each city runs its own permit process, so the steps depend on where your home is.
Questions
Palos Verdes questions
Do you serve all of the Palos Verdes Peninsula?
Yes: Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills and Rolling Hills Estates. Call or text (310) 487-2137 and we'll tell you when we can be there.
Can you add power to a detached garage or guest house?
Usually, yes. Most detached buildings get a sub-panel fed from the main house. We'll look at your main panel's capacity and the distance, and recommend the right setup.
Part of my landscape lighting stopped working. Can you fix it?
Yes. It's often a failed transformer, a timer, or a damaged wire or connection somewhere in the yard. We track down the problem and can upgrade old fixtures to LED while we're there.
